inspection. Instrumentation Development Division owns several precision
inspection instruments (CMM, portable CMM arms, long trace profiler, laser
tracker, laser interferometer, autocollimator, Harmar Laser, ZYGO-GPI XP4
interferometer). The numerous inspections that the instruments can provide are
as follows, dimension, position, geometric tolerance inspection, long-distance
flatness, linear and angular inspection, track straightness, parallelism of
workpieces, and surface quality of workpieces and surface shape of workpieces
and et cetera.
Survey network and alignment technology The
survey network and alignment technology could be applied to survey hundreds of
kilometer by using the GPS system, and also could be applied to measure the
dimension of several meters machined part accurately. The survey network and
alignment technology of Precise Mechanical Engineering group is integrated with
different instruments (GPS, theodolite and laser tracker). The technology can
be used in geodesic survey (the location and dimension of building, the precise
installation of shielding wall and the channel of cable tray, etc.), and also
can be used to measure and position the mechanism accurately (girder, magnet,
vacuum chamber, etc.). It is constructed of GPS system and different survey
instruments and is improved by using a lot and different located survey
station. It can provide for the building which needs to be constructed
precisely and the measurement and position of the large-scale structures (car,
air plane, ship, etc.).
