About NSRRC / Getting to NSRRC / Outside Hsinchu City


From outside Hsinchu City
By car
Southbound (from Freeway No. 1)
1. Take the Hsinchu (95B km) exit; keep right.
2. Continue until turning right onto Hsin-Ann Road.
3. Continue on Hsin-Ann Raod, and across Park Avenue II and R&D Road VI.
4. Turn left into the main entrance of the NSRRC.
Southbound (from Freeway No. 3)
1. Take the Baoshan (98 km) exit; keep right.
2. Turn right onto Daya Road.
3. Keep right at the fork to stay on Kehuan Road; follow signs to the Science Park.
4. Continue until turning left onto Park Avenue III.
5. Continue until Park Avenue III ends at Hsin-Ann Road.
6. Turn right onto Hsin-Ann Road.
7. Turn right into the main entrance of the NSRRC.
Northbound (from Freeway No. 1)
1. Take the Hsinchu Science Park (95B km) exit; keep left.
2. Continue until turning left onto Hsin-Ann Road.
3. Continue on Hsin-Ann Raod, and across Park Avenue II and R&D Road VI.
4. Turn left into the main entrance of the NSRRC.
Northbound (from Freeway No. 3)
1. Transition onto the Freeway No. 1 north at the Hsinchu System Interchange (100 km).
2. Take the Hsinchu Science Park (95B km) exit; keep left.
3. Continue until turning left onto Hsin-Ann Road.
4. Continue on Hsin-Ann Raod, and across Park Avenue II and R&D Road VI.
5. Turn left into the main entrance of the NSRRC.
By Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR)
If you take high speed rail, get off at Hsinchu THSR Station and then get to NSRRC by one of the following.
Taxi Yellow taxis can be easily accessed outside the Exit 4 of Hsinchu THSR Station. Fares are charged according to the taximeter and mostly in cash. A receipt can be issued upon request.
Local Train TRA (Taiwan Railways Administration) Liujia Station is right next to Hsinchu THSR Station (take Exit 1 or 2). Get on the train travelling towards Hsinchu Station, get off at Xinzhuang Station, and then take Free Bus #81 to NSRRC.
Science Park Free Shuttle Buses Take an *Orange-line Bus or a *Green-energy-line Bus outside the Exit 4 and get off at the Science Park Life Hub. Then take a *Red-line Bus or walk for about 15 mins to NSRRC.
City Bus Take Bus #182 outside the Exit 4 and get off at NTHU. Walk into the campus and ride Ubike to NSRRC.
By TRA Train (Taiwan Railways Administration)
If you take a TRA train, get off at Hsinchu Station and then get to NSRRC by one of the following.
Taxi Yellow taxis can be easily accessed outside the train station. Fares are charged according to the taximeter and mostly in cash. A receipt can be issued upon request.
Local Train You can connect to a local train inside Hsinchu Station. Get on the train travelling towards Liujia Station, get off at Xinzhuang Station, and then take Free Bus #81 to NSRRC.
City Bus ●You may take Bus #1, #2 or #31 to NTHU, and then ride Ubike to NSRRC.
●You may also take Bus #1 or #31 to the Science Park Life Hub. Then take a *Red-line Bus or walk for about 15 mins to NSRRC.
By Freeway Coaches There are several coach lines to choose depending on where to depart and to arrive. To get to NSRRC by taking a freeway coach, you can get off at either National Tsing Hua University Stop, or Hsinchu Science Park Stop.
●Hsinchu Science Park Stop:The stop is located at the Science Park Life Hub. You may choose Yalan Bus (from Taipei), UBus (from Miaoli or Taichung), or King Bus (from Taichung). After getting off at this stop, take a *Red-line Bus or walk for about 15 mins to NSRRC.
●National Tsing Hua University Stop: From Taipei to Hsinchu, you may choose Yalan Bus 、 Hsinchu Bus 、 King Bus 、 Freego Bus 、 Howtai Bus 、 UBus. From Taichung to Hsinchu, you may choose Hsinchu Bus or King Bus. After getting off at this stop, take a taxi or ride Ubike to NSRRC.
