About NSRRC / Organization

Instrumentation Development Division > Magnet Group

  • The Magnet Group is responsible for most magnet systems used in the accelerator and the experimental stations of the NSRRC.
  • The magnets include the electromagnets for synchrotron and the traditional and superconducting magnet for insertion devices.
  • This group is capable of designing and mapping the magnetic field of the magnets; The mechanical structure is also designed and fabricated in lab.
