Facts and Figures 121 NSRRC Board Meetings The NSRRC Board of Trustees (BOT; see page 110 for details) was established in 2003 and each BOT serves a three-year term. The BOT is responsible for ensuring that the NSRRC is integral to the scientific community and serves its purpose. The seventh NSRRC BOT, chaired by Prof. Minn-Tsong Lin, held its seventh Meeting on March 23 together with the sixth Supervisory Board Meeting. In this meeting, the NSRRC management presented status reports on NSRRC operations, accelerator systems, experimental facility development, and scientific performance. The BOT and the Supervisory Board reviewed the 2022 Final Accounts report, work performance, and the internal audit declaration, and they discussed the international collaboration between NSRRC and RIKEN in Japan in constructing the new Thailand synchrotron SPS-II. In the afternoon, the seventh Supervisory Board Meeting was held, where the response to the review comments of the National Audit Office was discussed, and the 2022 Final Accounts report was approved. The eighth BOT Meeting and the eighth Supervisory Board Meeting was held on July 28. After the NSRRC management presented on the current status of the NSRRC, the BOT members discussed the 2024 Preliminary Budget Estimate, as well as the performance and plans for the TPS beamlines and Taiwan contract beamlines at SPring-8 in Japan. The final meeting of the year, taking place on December 21, was the ninth BOT meeting together with the ninth Supervisory Board Meeting. The BOT and Supervisors approved the 2025 Preliminary Budget Estimate, 2023 Audit Report, and 2024 Audit Plan. In addition, internal regulations were amended and personnel issues were discussed in the meeting. Major Events The BOT meetings were hosted in a hybrid modality.
