NSRRC Activity Report 2022
128 NSRRC ACTIVITY REPORT 2022 Synchrotron Radiation and Materials Forum at 2022 MRS-T Annual Meeting Synchrotron Radiation and Neutron Research Forum at 2022 TwIChE Annual Meeting The 2022 Materials Research Society of Taiwan Annual Meeting took place at National United University on November 18 and 19. Dr. Yan-Gu Lin of the NSRRC hosted the Synchrotron Radiation and Materials Forum on November 19. He invited five NSRRC users from National Tsing Huang University, Chang Gung University, National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and National Central University as well as four NSRRC beamline scientists to discuss the applicable synchrotron radiation techniques and applications of the latest TPS beamlines in materials research. As a powerful characterization facility, the TPS provides useful in situ microstructural information on numerous energy materials. The 69 th Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers was held on December 2 and 3 at Tamkang University. On December 3, Dr. Yan-Gu Lin and Dr. Wei-Tsung Chuang of the NSRRC hosted the Synchrotron Radiation and Neutron Research Forum, which had approximately 80 participants. The morning session covered the latest developments in energy science, and the afternoon session covered possible emerging opportunitie in the fields of food and biomedical science. This forum aimed at spurring collaboration between the NSRRC and other Taiwanese research institutions. The use of synchrotron radiation techniques and the assistance of NSRRC scientists can broaden the knowledge and scope of research in Taiwan. NSRRC Focus Forum was one of the important events at the RPGR 2022 Conference. The aim of the Synchrotron Radiation and Neutron Research Forum was to spur collaboration between the NSRRC and other Taiwanese research institutions. Eighty researchers and students attended the Synchrotron Radiation and Materials Forum at 2022 MRS-T Annual Meeting.
