118 NSRRC ACTIVITY REPORT 2022 NSRRC Board Meetings The NSRRC Board of Trustees (BOT; see page 108 for details) was established in 2003 and each BOT serves a three-year term. The BOT is responsible for ensuring that the NSRRC is integral to the scientific community and serves its purposes. The seventh NSRRC BOT, chaired by Prof. Minn-Tsong Lin, held its third Meeting on March 22, during which the NSRRC management gave status reports on NSRRC operations, accelerator systems, experimental facility development, scientific performance, and the progress of seeking the next director. The BOT and the Supervisory Board approved the 2021 Final Accounts and the appointment of 2022 NSRRC Chairs. In the meetings held in April and July, the BOT discussed the selection of the next director and finalized the decision, as well as the candidates for Deputy Directors for the new management. In the fifth meeting on July 12, the BOT and the Supervisory Board also approved the 2023 Budget and Annual Work Plan, amended the internal regulations, and reviewed NSRRC’s development and achievements during the tenure of the current director, along with future plans and prospects for the new director. The third Executive BOT meeting took place on September 29. The Executive BOT discussed the issues on the start-ups Major Events The BOT meetings were hosted in a hybrid modality. derived from the NSRRC’s research. The final meeting of the year took place on December 29 and was the sixth BOT meeting, together with the fifth Supervisory Board Meeting. The BOT and Supervisors approved the 2024 Preliminary Budget Estimate, 2022 Audit Report, and 2023 Audit Plan. In addition, internal regulations were amended and personnel issues were discussed.
