Facts and Figures 137 The new user lounge located near Pillar 11 at the TPS. A New User Lounge at the TPS The NSRRC has been committed to con- struct a user-friendly environment at the TPS. This year a new lounge near Pillar 11 on the second floor of the TPS was opened to users. The decoration made it cozy and inviting. It aimed to provide users with an inspiring environment, not only for exper- iment discussion during users’ beam time but also for idea exchange among labora- tories or groups. The Interactive Demonstration/Exhibition Hall was completed, providing an interesting and interactive experience for visitors to know more about the NSRRC. Demonstration/Exhibition Hall A space aiming to exhibit and to demon- strate the research and history of the NSRRC was completed in September. The Demonstration/Exhibition Hall was locat- ed at the third floor of the Administration Building. It comprised an interactive intro- duction and exhibition area, interactive touch screens to demonstrate NSRRC major events, a multi-functional presentation area, and virtual-reality glass experience for a trip to the TPS accelerator. It provided a brand new experience for visitor of all ages and all kinds to the in-depth knowledge of the NSRRC’s science.
