NSRRC Showcases Its Research Strengths in FUTEX 2026
2026/09/21
Jointly organized by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Academia Sinica, the Future Tech Pavilion (FUTEX 2026) at the Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) was held from September 17 to 19 at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. Focusing on key technological developments expected over the next three to ten years, this year’s FUTEX is centered on the theme “Turning Taiwan’s Scientific Research into a Force for Industrial Transformation,” highlighting R&D with strong industrial relevance. Major exhibition areas include the Institutional Research Achievements Area, which brings together R&D capabilities from four major research institutions supported by the NSTC, and the Industry-Academia Collaboration Area, which features exemplary industry-academia partnerships.

This year, NSRRC presents four key emerging technologies in the institutional exhibition area: “High-Power, High-Safety Lithium-Ion Batteries: Powering the Future from Home Energy Storage to High-Speed Mobility,” “Synchrotron Radiation for Precision Medicine: 3D Imaging and Analysis from Atoms to Cells and Tissue,” “Future Innovations through the Coupling of Cryogenics and Magnetic Fields,” and “Multi-Point Active Optical Element.” Through these exhibits, NSRRC demonstrates its solid research and technological capabilities in driving scientific breakthroughs, industrial progress, and emerging technologies and prospective innovations.
