Congratulations to NSRRC Users, Yun-Wei Chiang, Jiun-Tai Chen and E-Wen Huang for winning the 2016 Ta-You Wu Memorial Award

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) has announced the forty awardees of the 2016 Ta-You Wu Memorial Award. There are three NSRRC users among them: Prof. Yun-Wei Chiang, Prof. Jiun-Tai Chen and Prof. E-Wen Huang. Prof. Chiang, Associate Professor in Chemistry of National Tsing Hua University, has expertise in physical chemistry, biophysical chemistry, electron spin resonance, nano-biology, and water dynamics. Prof. Chen is Associate Professor in Applied Chemistry of National Chiao Tung University with research interests in polymer chemistry, polymer nanomaterials, optoelectronic polymers, thin film fabrication, and 3D Printing. Prof. Huang, Assistant Professor in Materials Science and Engineering of National Chiao Tung University uses neutron and X-ray scattering to investigate the mechanical properties and the applications of metallic materials. In memory of Prof. Ta-You Wu, a highly respected physicist and educator, who was devoted his entirely life to the development of science, beginning from 2002 National Science Council (reformed as MOST since 2014) gives out Ta-You Wu Memorial Award every year to recognize researchers under the age of 42 who have made excellent achievements in certain academic fields.
