Congratulations to NSRRC Board Member Dr. Yu-Ju Chen on Her Election as an Academician of Academia Sinica

Academia Sinica announced the results of its 2026 Academician Election on July 9, electing 19 new Academicians and 3 Honorary Academicians. Among the newly elected Academicians, eight are women. Dr. Yu-Ju Chen, a member of the NSRRC Board of Trustees, has been elected as a new Academician in the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
Dr. Chen is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica. Her research focuses on mass spectrometry and proteomics, and her pioneering contributions have earned her widespread international recognition. She has served as a member of the NSRRC Board of Trustees since February 2024.
Academicians of Academia Sinica are elected for life and represent the highest academic honor in Taiwan. Election as an Academician recognizes outstanding scholarly achievements and significant contributions to academic research through a rigorous process of nomination, review, and voting by the Convocation of Academicians.
