NSRRC Researchers Honored as Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry
2026/05/25
Congratulations to NSRRC researchers on being elected as Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Following the election of Dr. Yan-Gu Lin, whose work focuses on in-situ/operando X-ray techniques and electrocatalytic energy materials, as an RSC Fellow in 2024, Dr. Yu-Jong Wu, spokesperson for the TLS 03A1 and TLS 21A2 beamlines at NSRRC, has also received this honor this year. His research achievements in molecular spectroscopy and photochemistry, quantum chemical calculations, and astrochemistry have gained wide international recognition.

Founded in 1841, the RSC in the United Kingdom is the largest organization in Europe for advancing the chemical sciences and the oldest chemical society in the world. Fellowship of the RSC is the society’s highest professional honor. It recognizes distinguished scholars with outstanding achievements and international impact in the chemical sciences, acknowledging their significant contributions to advancing chemical research, innovation, and applications.
