2024/06/26
NSRRC Scientists, Drs. Chun-Jung Chen and Hwo-Shuenn Sheu, actively promote science education to the public in addition to their scientific research. They use straightforward explanations to help readers better understand synchrotron light sources. In the June 2024 issue of “Science Monthly”, they elaborated on the theory and applications of synchrotron light sources, as well as the development of Taiwan Light Source (TLS) and Taiwan Photon Source (TPS). Through popular science publications, they aim to foster a deeper appreciation for science in our society.
Published by the Taipei Science Publishing Foundation, "Science Monthly" is Taiwan's oldest popular science magazine. The magazine covers a wide range of topics, including natural sciences, biotechnology, applied sciences, and mathematics, primarily targeting high school students and the general public.
