The Life Sciences in Taiwan have increasingly looked for a microscopic
understanding of biomedical phenomena from the cellular to the
atomic level resolution. With the current established spectroscopic
and imaging techniques in NSRRC, it is a good time to promote
life sciences related research using the synchrotron light source.
However, the communication barrier between synchrotron experts
and potential life sciences users remains high. At the present
time, we believe that the most efficient way in getting local
life scientists involved in research using synchrotron light source
is to encourage physicists and spectroscopists in NSRRC talk in
a langrage that can be understood by biologists and biomedical
persons, rather than providing a simplified description of the
special source properties and how synchrotron lights are generated.
With this background in mind, we create this special website for
you to make contact with us.
This web page is aimed to help user who has no previous experience
in using the Life Sciences Research Facilities (LifeNSRRC) before.
You can find out which beamline you should apply for your experiment,
by starting from (1) the biological information you want to get,
or (2) the experimental technique you want to use, or (3) the
total beamline list.
