The NSRRC is located in the northwest corner of Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park, about 70 km south of Taipei. The NSRRC is accessible by car : 70 minutes from Taipei, 45 minutes from CKS International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Hsinchu. The NSRRC site has an area of 14 hectares and is located close to other research institutes, including the National Tsing Hua University, the National Chiao Tung University, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).

Transportation

For safety consideration, the main gate on Hsin-Ann Road was closed temporarily during the construction of the new facility (Taiwan Photon Source, TPS). If you need to make business trip to NSRRC, please access the facility from the gate on Park Ave. 3.

By Train and City Bus:
Train: Take Taiwan Railway to “Hsinchu” station and then take Hsinchu City Bus to get to NSRRC.
City Bus:
  (1) Take Hsinchu City Bus No.1,No.2 or No. 31, get off at the “National Tsing Hua University” Stop, and then take the Red Line Shuttle Bus on Jiangong Rd. or Jiangong 1st Rd. or the NSRRC shuttle bus to get to NSRRC.
  (2) Take Hsinchu City Bus No. 2 and get off at the “National Chiao Tung University” Stop. Walk through the campus to the south entrance gate, then turn right on Hsin-Ann Rd. (Xinan Rd.), go straight to Park Ave. III to turn left, walk along about 100m to get to NSRRC.
THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail):
  (1) Shuttle Bus: Take a THSR train to Hsinchu Station. Head to the right of Exit No. 4 (Bus Terminal Platform No. 1) and take the Orange Line Shuttle Bus to get to the park (Science Park Life Hub). Transfer to the Red Line Shuttle Bus or the NSRRC shuttle bus and get off at NSRRC.
  (2) Taxi: Taxi pickup services are available at the taxi stand near Exit No. 4.
National Freeway Coaches:
To get to NSRRC by taking a national freeway coach, one can get off at either the "National Tsing Hua University" Stop, the "National Chiao Tung University" Stop, or the “Hsinchu Science Park” Stop.
  (1) Hsinchu Science Park Stop: Located at the Science Park Life Hub, it provides visitors with easy access to whatever destination inside the park by Shuttle Bus. After you get off at this stop, please take the Red Line Shuttle Bus ,the NSRRC shuttle bus or a taxi to get to NSRRC. Currently national freeway coach services at this stop are only offered by Yalan Bus (TEL: (03)5753322), UBus (TEL: (03)6669159; (03)5727342) and Kuo-Kuang Bus (TEL: (03)5719865; (03)5249470). Passengers are advised to get more details from bus companies.
  (2) National Tsing Hua University Stop: After you get off at this stop, take the Red Line Shuttle Bus on Jiangong Rd. or Jiangong 1st Rd. or the NSRRC shuttle bus to get to NSRRC.
By Car:
From National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway), one can get off at the Hsinchu Science Park Interchange.
  (1) After getting off the free way, southbound vehicles are to turn right on Hsin-Ann Rd., go straight to Park Ave. III to turn left, and drive along about 100m to get to NSRRC.
  (2) Upon getting off the free way, northbound vehicles are to turn left on the T-section, turn left on Hsin-Ann Rd., go straight to Park Ave. III to turn left, and drive along about 100m to get to NSRRC.
*Note: Vehicles using National Freeway No. 3 (Northern Taiwan Second Freeway) can switch to Sun Yat-sen Freeway at the Hsinchu System Interchange and get off at the Hsinchu Science Park Interchange.
